When I decided to end my employment, I took a one-year break from any official hunting for income. Now this might not have been necessary, but it was nice. It gave me time to get very clear on what I want for the future. Don’t make the mistake that I do not think about getting a JOB again, it cross my mind but I know the value of working from home is far more than the steady paycheck

I will suggest you take some time off and do the same. You might not have the luxury of a year, but a week or two will also do.

Why do you need this?

As an employee, you think way different than a entrepreneur or business owner / investor. On the one side, some laws that will make sure you get your monthly paycheck protect you. On the other side, as a home base business owner, you become your own law and need to make sure you create enough income in order to pay your monthly bills.

You need a total mind shift.

My suggestions as follows:

  • Decide what you want to do with your future.
  • Decide how much income you need for this
  • Decide where you think it is possible to create this income
  • Do some investigation on ideas in that area

Now take a break

Do nothing

If possible, get time alone, no music, not anything to disturb your mind. Meditate on the idea that you thought of.

Now write down at least 20 ways of what you think can bring money on the table. Try not to think of the how to but only on the result.

Take your list, now see which one can be the easiest to start with, one that you already have some knowledge about.

Put that one as your number one. Do this with every item on your list. Don’t scratch off any one, you might not be in a position now to do it, but you might be in a position later on. Just put it way down on your list

Do this in the meantime, follow my posts and videos and sign-up for my follow up e-mails. You will get a valuable gift, unfortunately, you will have to read it.

Think like a business owner, think the value of working from home will have for you and your family.

Till next time, stay well.
